It Started on a Farm

Hi, I'm Trish. Filomena's is my dream come true. Growing up in the family buisness and now with our own farm in upstate New York, I always believed that good food — real food — should be available to everyone.

Filomena’s has always been a past dream. As a registered nurse and 16 years of experience in the restaurant business I now can put food and coffee into reality and bring my knowledge together to create healthy alternatives and homemade baked goods for our area in Queens, NY. As someone who cares about what goes in food and what we eat, I’m happy to share some authentic Italian flavors inspired by my family who owned an Italian pizzeria in my hometown Apalachin N.Y. My parents ran a great establishment with top notch quality food, and the best pizza in town! With healthier options in breakfast and lunch.

What’s even more special is that we will have our NY certified eggs and produce from our own farm from Hudson, N.Y. Along with other farms from the Hudson NY area that will be used for our menu and to buy. Goal is farm to table! To make it a market I’d love to bring in local produce and products from Queens and Hudson NY area to support farmers and small businesses.
